Anecare's management team is a well-rounded group comprised of experienced inventors and entrepreneurs with a passion for launching new products and building companies. The inventors have a proven record of developing anesthesia innovations and licensing these products to well-known multi-national companies. Anecare was formed to sell their latest innovations. The sales management team has a proven record of successfully selling medical devices to anesthesia providers. Following are profiles for the team.

Michael Slatter – Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Over 30 years of entrepreneurial experience in creating, funding, staffing and managing emerging technology and medical device companies. Through these experiences Mr. Slatter has developed expertise in creating and implementing a focused company vision, identifying optimal product market positioning, and assembling and training strong sales teams who share the vision of the company and its products.  Mr. Slatter has served as a founder, investor, executive officer and board member..

Mark Winn – Chief Financial Officer
26 years of finance and accounting experience as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. This experience involved more than 10 years with publicly traded NASDAQ companies in the medical device industry, including Research Medical and Integrated Surgical Systems.

Steve Blackwell – Director of Operations
Over 18 years of experience in organizing and managing fulfillment, call center, support operations and IT. Mr. Blackwell has a proven history of establishing successful operational practices for emerging companies. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Brigham Young University.

Joseph Orr Ph.D.  – Founder
20 years experience as a globally recognized expert in anesthesia with an emphasis on studies involving carbon dioxide. Member of the research faculty at the University of Utah Department of Anesthesiology. Founder and Vice President of Korr Medical and a Founder and President of Axon Medical which has been the recipient of 11 National Institute of Health (NIH) grants. Dr Orr has authored 22 peer-reviewed publications on anesthesiology and currently holds 29 patents and has three patents pending.

Derek Sakata, M.D. – Founder
Director of anesthesiology at the John A. Moran Eye Center, practicing anesthesiologist at the University of Utah and Research Assistant Professor at the University of Utah Department of Anesthesiology. Dr. Sakata is a recipient of a grant from the the prestigious Society for Technology in Anesthesia Grant and author of 3 publications on anesthesiology.

Dwayne Westenskow, Ph.D. – Founder
Globally recognized expert in anesthesia for 30 years. Professor of Anesthesiology, Bioengineering and Medical Informatics and Director of the Bioengineering Division, Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Utah. Past President of the Society for Technology in Anesthesia, a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Clinical Monitoring and recipient of 3 NASA grants to develop life support and metabolic monitoring. Dr. Westenskow has authored 122 peer-reviewed publications on anesthesiology and currently holds 27 patents and has three pending patents.
