The first innovation this team has chosen to introduce is the ANEclear. The ANEclear is a patented, FDA-cleared, easy-to-use disposable device that actively removes unwanted inhaled anesthetics at the end of surgery to reverse the anesthetics’ effects and does so without the use of any drugs.

Rapid removal of residual inhaled anesthetics following surgery reduces the effects  these agents have on patients during recovery, which include Post Operative Nausea and Vomiting (PONV) and respiratory complications such as Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). These effects lead to patient discomfort, prolonged postoperative stay, unanticipated admissions and increased costs.
